Premier, Inc. on February 7th announced the launch of a purchasing program meant to leverage Premier’s tools, services, and aggregated purchasing power to bring savings to members and standardize the supply chain process. David Hargraves, Senior VP of Supply Chain at Premier notes that, “Top performing organizations understand the value of reducing variation and assessing utilization to improve quality of care, drive greater efficiencies, and reduce operating costs.” This program will bring new value to Premier contracted suppliers through volume and commitment in order to offer best-in-market pricing for members.
