Prairie Health Ventures (PHV) is pleased to announce the appointment of Anne Hansen to the position of Director, Quality and Population Health. Anne brings with her 30 years of nursing expertise and will join the PHV staff on May 15th providing leadership to the NPG Health Collaborative, an Accountable Care Organization (ACO) in year two of participation in Medicare’s Shared Savings Program.
Anne currently serves as a Regional Consultant, Clinical Quality at CHI Health, where she has been responsible for coordination of programs and initiatives related to quality assurance, performance improvement, patient safety, infection control, and care management-utilization management for five division-owned and three managed Critical Access Hospitals (CAH) in Iowa and Nebraska. Additionally, she consulted and coordinated quality related activities to the 34 hospitals across the CHI CAH Networks in Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska.
Anne held numerous nursing roles in acute care, public health and case management before working for CHI Health. She has also served as an adjunct nursing instructor at Nebraska Wesleyan University, Iowa Western Community College and Western Iowa Tech Community College.
Prior to earning an MS degree in Nursing with an emphasis in nursing education, she received her BS in Nursing from Midland Lutheran College. Anne currently resides in Turin, Iowa.
