PHV is strongly advocating in support of Nebraska State Bill LB 168, 340B Contract Pharmacy Protection Act. This would allow our rural, safety net hospital to contract with the retail pharmacies their patients are using and give them greater freedom to direct savings from those contracts back into their communities. PHV collected signatures in support of LB168 from 35 rural hospitals and over 20 rural retail pharmacies. Our 340B Manager, Andrew Cross, also testified in support of this bill on Tuesday, February 4th in front of the Banking, Commerce and Insurance Committee.
