With the implementation of the Premier tool, Spend Analytics, participating members continue to realize savings in their Supply Chain.  The process is fairly simple:  Once data is submitted, it is compared to existing Premier contracts.  After the analysis, areas of opportunities are identified that members can then act upon.  In addition to price discrepancies, new price activations, and conversion opportunities are shown.  For further analysis, volume and product usage is examined and any fluctuations are brought to light for the information of the member.  Discussions are held on a regular basis so any chances for savings are identified quickly and realized in a timely fashion.  Having the data inspected with the goal of discovering useful information is made easier with Spend Analytics and any decisions being made going forward are clearly supported by this data.  Savings identified so far is over $75,000 and we will continue to examine the data for even more opportunities.
