With cybersecurity becoming more important every day, PHV is researching ways that your facility can tap into quality FREE resources to augment your current cybersecurity strategy.

Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) is a program that is definitely worth taking a look at. PHV has actually worked with them on portions of our own cybersecurity plan.

Here’s a quick summary of CISA:

CISA is the operational lead for federal cybersecurity and the national coordinator for critical infrastructure security and resilience. Every state and territory has advisors that are available to assist you. Warren Hagelstien is a Cybersecurity Advisor in Omaha, NE, for CISA Region 7 (NE, IA, MO, KS). Warren and CISA work to protect Nebraska’s Health and Public Health organizations, as well as 15 other Critical Infrastructure sectors across Nebraska. All services that CISA provides are free and non-regulatory for any organization that would like to establish a relationship with CISA. Some of those services include external vulnerability scanning, cyber assessments (administrative and technical), resources, and ultimately partnership. CISA also has Protective Security Advisors that have the capability to provide services for organizations concerned with physical security resilience. They can provide assessments and information about certain training for organizations with that need.

You can learn about CISA’s layered mission to reduce risk to the nation’s cyber and physical infrastructure by visiting https://www.cisa.gov/about.
