Premier’s agreement with USPAY, a specialty healthcare credit card processor and a long-serving contracted supplier since 2008, works with a number of PHV members.
Recently US Pay announced some enhanced features to the current agreement have been made to provide PHV members with a true Contactless Payment Solution. Therefore, patient payments can be taken remotely, without touching the credit card, from your home or the patient can pay themselves online. We also understand the importance of utilizing USPAY’s enhanced payment technology to ensure patient receivables continue uninterrupted, possible increasing. To that extent, USPAY has agreed to the following:
- A retail/qualified rate of less than 1%
- At no cost, USPAY will add a “Pay My Bill” Button to member’s websites
- Provide patients/customers a unique toll-free 800 number so they can pay a bill, fully automated
- Create an online electronic invoice where a patient can pay with their phone
